Title: Think & Grow Rich
Author(s): Napoleon Hill
This book is one of the oldest Self-Help classics – and, as they say, OLD IS GOLD! We are locked-down due to COVID-19. While those who can, are working remotely, others are – one of the messages I received – “bored to death”.
Struggling to sit still at one place? There is this beautiful quote from movie The Karate Kid (2010):
“Being still and doing nothing are two very different things.”
If you can master this “process”, you can MAXIMIZE accomplishments. But, we STILL do need MONEY, you might insist. Well, you could just “THINK” and “GROW RICH” – just think about it and download all the money from the Universe -not just metaphorically – in reality – depending on HOW MUCH you have MASTERED THE PROCESS. The publisher’s preface is quite clear and firm on this:
“THIS book conveys the experience of more than 500 men of great wealth, who began at scratch, with nothing to give in return for riches except THOUGHTS, IDEAS and ORGANIZED PLANS. Here you have the entire philosophy of moneymaking, just as it was organized from the actual achievements of the most successful men known to the American people during the past fifty years. It describes WHAT TO DO, also, HOW TO DO IT!”
The promise of the book is unbeatable:
“WHEN RICHES BEGIN TO COME THEY COME SO QUICKLY, IN SUCH GREAT ABUNDANCE, THAT ONE WONDERS WHERE THEY HAVE BEEN HIDING DURING ALL THOSE LEAN YEARS.”
That Chapter #5 is titled “Specialized Knowledge” – sharing from the chapter:
‘KNOWLEDGE will not attract money, unless it is organized, and intelligently directed, through practical PLANS OF ACTION, to the DEFINITE END of accumulation of money. Lack of understanding of this fact has been the source of confusion to millions of people who falsely believe that “knowledge is power.” It is nothing of the sort! Knowledge is only potential power. It becomes power only when, and if, it is organized into definite plans of action, and directed to a definite end.’
Almost all of Self-Help books, the “Secret” series and “Law of Attraction” books can be traced to the material provided in the book.
Ready to MASTER it all from The Source? Last word to the author:
Man attains to the status of a genius ONLY when, and IF, he stimulates his mind so that it draws upon the forces available, through the creative faculty of the imagination.
