So far, we have dealt with Communication (Non-Violent) and “Creation of Meaning” (Logotherapy).

What is the next?

Most of our communications and meanings lead to some sort of contradictions or conflicts. Methodologies like Non-Violent Communication and Sociocracy provide tools to proactively deal with conflicts. Let us take a step back and look at how these conflicts impact our physical and mental health.

A popular theory is that whenever the mind is not at “ease” it results in “dis-ease”. Technically, this comes under Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) – quite a mouthful – let us look at wiki entry:

The study of the interaction between psychological processes and the nervous and immune systems of the human body. PNI takes an interdisciplinary approach, incorporating psychology, neuroscience, immunology, physiology, genetics, pharmacology, molecular biology, psychiatry, behavioral medicine, infectious diseases, endocrinology, and rheumatology.

Now that is quite a mouthful as well as handful. How can a layman use this? Here is where Louise L. Hay comes in to help. She could heal herself of diseases like cancer simply by shifting thought patterns!

As easy and as simple as that – shift your thought patterns to be completely healthy.

It is not an empty promise – I have been using Hay’s principles for more than a decade now. I have also learnt and practiced other alternative healing methods like Accupressure, Reiki, Pranic Healing, Ayurveda, et al. I rarely fall ill, and, the real fun happens when I can often accurately guess a person’s mental state simply by knowing about her health issues.

This knowledge is worth thousands and millions of dollars saved in medical bills!
